Activate Midnight for Counter-Strike 2 and follow the initial launch sequence. Features and subscriptions are listed on the Midnight CS2 page.
Activate and download
- Open the Midnight website.
- Register or sign in to your existing account.
- Activate your purchased key in the user panel.
- Download the current launcher from that panel. Replace an outdated copy when a newer build is available.
Launch Midnight for Counter-Strike 2
- Open the downloaded launcher.
- If Steam is already running, a Steam been closed for security reasons message may appear. Confirm it with OK.
- Wait for the game and interface to load. The first launch may take a few minutes.
- Once the interface has appeared for the first time, use Insert to show or hide it.
Use Insert rather than Esc to close the menu. Let initialization finish before trying to start another launcher instance.
Compatibility and common questions
Is Vulkan supported?
The documented Midnight version does not support -vulkan. Review CS2 launch options in Steam and remove that option before retrying.
What about NVIDIA Smooth Motion?
The installation instructions list NVIDIA Smooth Motion as unsupported. Check whether it is enabled if you experience display problems.
The menu does not appear immediately
Allow the first launch to finish. If the interface is still missing after several minutes, record the launcher message and contact support. Avoid running multiple copies simultaneously.
