Covcheg External Rust installation
This guide covers Covcheg External Rust, a separate product version. Do not substitute another Covcheg build's launch sequence.
Configuration
The procedure lists virtualization, Hyper-V, GPT system-disk layout and UEFI boot. Check virtualization in Task Manager. Confirm current loader compatibility before changing configuration; disk-layout changes need separate preparation.
Source reference links: virtualization, GPT/MBR check and UEFI.
USB loader
- Download the Covcheg launcher and place it on a USB drive.
- Exit Steam completely through its tray icon.
- Run Loader from USB and choose Launch.
- Restart when prompted. Retain any message reporting an unmet requirement.
After restarting
The developer procedure includes AnyDesk: open it, start recording using the red button and stop recording before continuing. This is a recording step, not an instruction to grant remote access.
Repeat the USB loader launch. Wait for its menu to close and Start the game and press F5 in game main menu, then confirm OK. Disconnect USB after Loader closes and before starting the game.
Activation
Start Rust, wait for its main menu and use F5 to open the interface. Follow the exact Loader prompt if loading is incomplete.
